When I run any program that has sound......it sometimes freezes and gives me a high tune beep.
Has anyone one had this prob...or is it just me
I have the 3530 driver. This is working fine all but the freezes that is.
Any help would be great.

Thanks again.

No just with the KX driver.......I went back to my SB drivers and it's working just fine. But my latency is back.
I have done clean installs and still no luck. Also by beep I mean a long beep with lock up lasting about 10-30secs. I have been using KX drivers and as soon as I fix one thing something else happenes. When I installed it the last time. I uninstalled all of the SB files, and then installed the KX drivers. Then the lock ups started.
Thank you for you reply

Try using version 3528 of the drivers and see if the lockups go away.

O.K I installed 3528...and I still got lock ups. But then I tried it with KX mixer turned off and not starting in start menu. And the reduced it allot. Not sure if it was just a freak thing...or it has not stopped and is just waiting for me to be in the middle of a mix.
