CUBASE SX3 Trying to Record SPDIF

Hello first time here. I'm trying to record from the SPDIF port on the back of my sound card ( have a EMU 1212m) cubase does not seem to have an input selection for this, what's the deal?? I am using the creative DSP that comes with the sound card, is it a routing issue? Thanks for any help

#1 - This forum is to support the KX project (general audio forum would have been more appropriate)

- make sure you have cubases settings (Access this from windows start menu) - make sure the all the sound card's ports are enabled.
- Then you have to set up ins and outs and sends in cubase (VST connections in Cubase) - before they are available in each track.

and of course search these forums and RTFM....

Im not a cubase guru - but have set it up once or twice sucessfully.
