Can't record via ASIO in Sonar 4

Hello!

I've just changed W2K -> WXP and old version of KX to the lastest one. I have Audigy Soundcard. I use Sonar for creating music. I can't see any Input Drivers in Options->Audio...->Drivers Tab when I use Sonar in ASIO mode. Output Drivers present. But I need to record audio.

Can you recommend something except turning back to standard drivers ?

With best regards, Stepan.

Close Sonar and go into the kX ASIO Control Panel (under Settings in the kX context menu) and make sure that the format is set to one of the 16 bit /48kHz formats (the numbers in brackets (i.e. [8+8]) indicate the number of inputs and outputs.). Also, make sure that the Sonar is set to 16/48.

Maddogg6 will become famous soon enough

AFTER setting sonar for asio - exit and restart sonar - go to the audio/drivers tab - and make sure ONLY KX ASIO are selected - you may have another ASIO driver (adobe??) that may have been selected by default (alphabetical - Adobe is before KX..?? - I assume anyway)

I had the same issue. Rt click on KX in the tray. Go to settings/ASIO Control Panel and make sure the format is set per this link:http://i8.tinypic.com/25fof7t.jpg
Make sure you have chosen ASIO in SONAR at 48khz
