Sad SB Live! ASIO recording does not work

Hi there this is my first post.I need help(who does not?)

I have Sb Live! 5.1 SE card and using latest stable kx drivers and love them. But I just can't get ASIO recording to work.I connected AC97 outputs to Asio inputs tried everything which goes but had no chance.I can select kx ASIO driver in cubase sx and set the latency.Select correct in buses for recording but it only records silence.I am really stuck at the moment. If I switch to Asio Full Duplex DX driver, and set monitoring on, feedback occurs.but if I record without monitoring, it is fine(lots of latency of course).WDM streaming always goes with feedback(ie Guitar fx box when I run it, feedback occurs.delays, delays, and delays.)
I need to have ASIO recording. Please help.
