Kx inputs and Cubase SX3 help
I use a SB audigy platinum 2zs (0350) card with Cubase sx3
I fixed the sample rate to 48 and i still cant figure out how to record with the line2 input. In the device set up menu i can see all the inputs available but in the inspector bar i only have the option of choosing Kx stereo in.
How can i set up the drivers so I can record with le line2 input of my card?

If your using the default kX DSP then i believe Line2 will appear at ASIO inputs 8/9.**
In Cubase press F4 to open input/output dialog. There you can add an Cubase input and assign it to ASIO 8/9.
**(Most of us recommend using a custom DSP using the ProFXs= SCR(for inputs) ASIO(for inputs into cubase, and K1LT (for speakers/headphones and other outputs).

Hello,
same problem with me! There is no input to assign in the Input/Output F4 menu. Outputs work fine. I have the 3534f drivers installed, VSTi performance rocks!!! but I cannot record anything!

I do not have Cubase, so I am not familar with it's functionality (othen than what I have read in the forum), but I have seen similair issues with other software, when the sample rate is not set to 48000.

Hi Russ,
I/O was fine with 3538 driver, but its VSTi power was poor. Is the Audigy2ZS incompatible with the 3534f driver? What driver can be recommended for A2ZS?

Sorry, but I do not know what compatibility issues might exist with your card and 3534f. For the most compatibility, I would say to use 3538j, but, as you noticed, the ASIO performance is not as good as it was with 3534f. I think someone who is familair with Cubase can probably help you to get the inputs working with 3534f, as I think that it is more of a configuration issue, than a card model compatibility issue. With that in mind, if you are happy with 3534f (other than the recording problem), I would say to stick with that for now, and wait for help from someone who is more familair with that software. In the mean time, you might want to try a free ASIO host like VST-Host, or Kristal Audio Engine, just to see if you are able to record (or see the ASIO inputs for that matter) using a different application (and that should help you to determine if it is a kX configuration issue, or a Cubase configuration issue, etc).
