I think hes seeing the noisefloor of the AUX - with the REC SOURCE level set to max on my card shows about -45 db of noise...

yep, quite possible, but his aux level is at ~-18db
in the pic!
It's totaly unclear what we are looking at here.

Anyway, i'm sure the OP will figure it out soon because,
....how hard can it be (for crying out loud..lol)

ok this explains much.

after i looked at doug's soundcard modding guide i think the ground wire could be the problem.
i left it out as i mentioned because my stereo cable doesn't have a ground wire.

question to doug:
where is ground connected to on your soundcard ? can i connect it somewhere to the pc case or do i need a special connection ?

Well the ground has to correspond to the sleeve of the connector. I suppose you could just run a wire from the connector down to a ground point on the motherboard.

yeah score, it works.

the problem was that i oversaw a cable "inside" a channel of the extension cable i soldered together with the soundcard connector.

if i think again about electro basics i should have known because of the missing ground there was no voltage.
and this ground is included in the stereo jack (the lower part by the way) what you see at doug's graphic.

well the sound from the aux is good and when i get the timecode vinyls this week i can tell you the latency.. if you want.

just one question left:

what to do if i don't want to hear the timecode on the soundcard outputs but they still should be available to djDecks ?
if i mute them in the mixer are they still available or do i need another solution ?

What are these audible timecode sounds for?

these are for the djDecks programm to recognize the needle position on the vinyl to control the mp3.

so it must be available for the programm but not hearable trough the output.

only if you want to play a regular vinyl with music you can route it through the computer like this.

If you need all the other outputs from your audigy for your speakers, maybe you could put your SBLive back in and tie the 2 together and use the outputs from the SBLive.

i sold my sblive *g*

no i think that must work. also other soundcards (maya 44 usb for example) with only 2 stereo outputs work with djDecks for sure.

so i think djDecks is also able to read for the master muted signals.

now i have a new problem.

i don't know exactly but i think since i've installed 3534f my computer lags sometimes that i can't do anything except restarting.

do you know what this can come from ?

if there is no solution i will have to test the 37 driver i think it had worked.
but it would be a pity because auf the latency.

I don't know what could be causing your problem, my recording software has been working better than it has for a long time since I uninstalled 3537 and reinstalled 3534f.

I use VirtualDJ with timecoded vinyls...I have an SB Live! PLATINUM withLive! DriveII. It has line in 2 and aux in2 inputs, and that's are separated from the line in, so I have 3 ASIO inputs And 3 outputs, because it has a headphone output, and I can use it as a separate output
So I have 3 stereo inputs and 3 stereo outputs...

Thx for the links...
I have some problems using KX asio with VirtualDJ...It supports 44.1kHz sample rate, and my card is supported 48kHz...It works with my card too, but the BPMmeter is showing that the tempo is -8.1% when it is at zero position...
So is there any plugin for KX, that can resample to 44.1kHz? ASIO4ALL works without this bug, but it only supports one input

I am able to set my card, CT4830, to 44.1 kHz on this puter using the kX ASIO control panel and play back a demo tune that was recorded at 44.1 kHz. I am using 3534f.
