Supertalent
has many devices on show, ranging from ram modules
to waterproof USB pen drives, very similar to
the well known Corsair Voyager. No menton of lifetime
warranty however. They mentioned they will have
a new version of this out shortly. Other items
of interest included a 32GB IDE Flash drive in
2.5 inch and 1.8 inch sizes. They also mentioned
"Rigid" memory modules, but more on
this on DH in the coming months.
PATRIOT
Patriot
had some of the fastest memory on show and it
was drawing a lot of attention. You can see from
the screenshot that they had the memory running
at 1300mhz. DDR3 modules are ready for production.
Will it ever end?!
ULTIMATE
GAMING CHAIR
|

Well
if you fancy playing games while going
for the Homer Simpson look, this might
be right up your alley. Two versions are
available, one with vibration and the
other with game pad built in, stereo in
the head rest, drink holder as well as
a massage program. Duff beer hat anyone?

ENERMAX
Enermax
had an impressive display on hand with their 1000W
PSU running two 8800 powered systems simultaneously.
WIth 2000w power supplies already it makes you
wonder if we really need 2Kw of power right now.
Mine is bigger than yours!
ARTIC
COOLING
Artic
Cooling were highlighting a new super
quiet case, which was screwless and had velcro
stripes for holding drives. They also had a 500W
PSU inside a case with silent fans fitted. Interestingly
Artic Cooling informed us that they plan to focus
on passive cooling for Graphics cards as well
as launching their products in the USA. We like
Artic Cooling, so good luck to them.
MSI
MSI
were
heavily promoting their laptop range, which appeared
to be the usual run of the mill laptops with Swarovski
crystal embedded in various positions on the fascia.
Their centerpiece was a concept "medical
laptop" which is a module embedded into a
chassis to read your health signs and report online.
Bizarre?, well we think so.......
Primax
If
you like your mice to be loud rather than subtle,
then these products from Primax
might tickle your fancy, they are laser gaming
mice with interchangeable palm sections in a variety
of weird and ermm wonderful designs. Now all we
need are some silk sheets and Hugh Hefner's mansion
for the weekend.
Well
that's it for today, we hope to have some more
coverage later this week, although with all the
parties going on, we can't promise anything :)
