What do our awards means?

The primary goal of Heaven Media reviews are to inform you, our readers about which products should be making it into your home as a possible purchase. In June of 2009 we decided to expand, enhance and revise our awards system to better accommodate the plethora of products that we review.

The awards are directly related to our scoring system

DRIVERHEAVEN GOLD AWARD

The DriverHeaven GOLD Award - from this point onwards you won't see a product earning this award often because it will have to score at least 9 in all categories and 10 in the overall rating.

DRIVERHEAVEN SILVER AWARD

The DriverHeaven SILVER Award - this is a high rated product which deserves serious consideration when contemplating a possible hardware purchase - relates to a high score rating of 8 or over in all categories

DRIVERHEAVEN BRONZE AWARD

The Driverheaven BRONZE Award - this is a high rated product which deserves consideration when contemplating a possible hardware purchase - relates to a high score rating of 7 or over in all categories.

DRIVERHEAVEN VALUE AWARD

The DriverHeaven VALUE Award - this is a product which may score poorly in a number of categories but when considered for the price alone deserves serious condition. Has to score a 10 in the value category and may be combined with another award.

DRIVERHEAVEN PERFORMANCE AWARD

The DriverHeaven PERFORMANCE Award - this is a product which may score poorly in a number of categories but when considered for the performance alone deserves serious condition. Has to score a 10 in the performance category and may be combined with another award.

DRIVERHEAVEN WTF AWARD

The DriverHeaven WTF Award - this is a product which will score poorly in all areas and should be avoided at all costs. Has to score under 3 in all categories.

 

Gamingheaven.net Game Awards

Our games are rated on a percentage system as below

Gameplay	92	Amazing, when it works.
Graphics	92	Awesome engine and great attention to detail
Sound	82	The voiceovers are great, the rest is pretty good.
Value	65	Until the netcode is fixed, it is hard to recommend.
Overall	78	Hard to give a rating as this would be much higher if the netcode was sorted.

GAMINGHEAVEN GOLD AWARD

The Gamingheaven GOLD Award - from this point onwards you won't see a game earning this award often because it will have to score at least 93% in the overall rating.

GAMINGHEAVEN EDITORS CHOICE AWARD

The Gamingheaven EDITORS CHOICE Award - this is a high rated game which deserves serious consideration when contemplating a possible purchase - relates to an overall score rating of between 85% and 92%

GAMINGHEAVEN TEAMWORK AWARD

The Gamingheaven TEAMWORK Award - this is a high rated game which deserves consideration and excels in an online team based environment. Score must be at least 85%.

GAMINGHEAVEN WTF AWARD

The Gamingheaven WTF Award - this is a game which will score poorly in all areas and should be avoided at all costs. Will get an overall score of under 30%
