Norton System Works 2006
Has anyone used this product before? Im installing it now and reading some reviews while doing it, some very good ones and some bad ones. So if you have used it tell me your experiences.
Its taking more than 40 mins to install aswell, apparantly this is normal.

non stop popups, system stalled 2 times, slow boot up, ugly icons, hijacks all your settings, and takes up alot of disk space...

Got the same one, it took so long when it was installing norton Ghost... Was reading some reviews while was waiting and some people said it took them up to an hour, with system crashes half way though...

lol
in all seriousness though i wouldnt install this unless you have DUAL CORE system.
for some reason Norton systemworks 2006 premier has multi threading built into it or some form of dual core optimized.
it just rockets on my system lol

have not tried the 06 vers, but have been using the varied vers of it for 6-7 yrs now & have never had it slow anything down or take a long time to install.
i think the long installation problems are due to varies problems on a comp. & the slowdowns are due to non management of all the stuff on norton not being managed. there is a 'bloatware' involved & you do not need everything turned on/installed.
