Help me tweak Opera 8
Hello, DH! Just downloaded Opera and thought I'd ask some of the pros here about where I could go to find a nice tweak guide for it. I know it's plenty fast out of the box, but I'm a speed-freak sometimes and like to be on the bleeding edge! Thanks for reading and your constructive posts!

It seems the settings and explanations for them are a little dated from that page since I'm using Opera 8. Are they still viable to use?

I actually dont know any tweaks that "speed" opera up (unlike some tweaks for firefox or IE) you can turn off images etc but thats pretty pointless unless you are on dialup etc. there are various options to fine tune the cache and other browsing options, alter positions of the toolbar etc (appearance/toolbars/progressbar/popup bottom of the page).

quick preferences is a handy menu, my advice is to install a nice theme like meguiDo and just look in all the menus.

Zardon, do you think you could post a new link to an alternate location to download the Meguiddo skin? Deviantart is going VERY slow.
