There is a driver and firmware update - it says to load the driver then update firmware.

I would expect it to then be available under Windows Xp "Scanner and camera Wizard"

Many photo edit programs also have scanner support - the interoperability provided by TWAIN, means that in general, any program capable of aquiring an image through TWAIN, can support any device capable of providing it through a TWAIN compliant driver.
Some to try are (free) www.photofiltre.com
(free but needs registering, may receive marketing info) http://freeserifsoftware.com/softwar...us/default.asp

Looks like there is a procedure to use the supplied software with the downloaded driver - read carefully!

XP's built in scanner/camera drivers are poor at best...fair warning
