problem with video card.

im having a problem with my new 9800xt 256mb.i mainly play counter-strike on my computer and ever since I got my new video card I see a green flashy round spot somewhere in the map and in source I see little green spots on the ground...I really dont know what to do...either my video card is defective or either...you tell me .im currently using the new omegadrivers but dats not the problem...anyways thx for ur help !

Can you take a screenshot? Sounds like it may be either artifacts or texture corruption but a SS would help.

I have seen this before as well with other games....dont know about any sort of real fix, except reinstalling drivers after cleaning the old ones out, and checking the control panel quality and performance settings, I did see this sort of thing when I turned on fast writes I think...
