XP SP-2 Fixlist & Links
Here is a great list that is building for XP SP-2 it's updated fairly regularly and contains fixes not found on the update website.
MODS: Could we make this sticky, maybe even move it to the News Thread??
Here is the list!!
Today I found at least 8 extra fixes for XP and installed them.
Noticable Improvements!

No prob I like to have things fixed before they cause any probs and the increase in performance doesn't hurt neither.

It really must be out within 120 days or so, because some judge ruled that it was illegal for Microsoft to break anti-trust laws with the exclusion of Java from Windows, so Microsoft has 120 days to put Java into windows... and the word was that Microsoft was going to include Java first in Windows XP's SP2, so 4 months is the ETA... hopefully sooner...

I've never really been a big fan of the Service packs. I used to install everything religiously. Then I noticed stability changed, usually folllowed by a slowing down at unusual times. Even on XP -SP1 I noticed my CPU usage jumped greatly after SP1. Still not sure if the screwing your getting is worth the screwing your getting with Service PAcks -- if you system is working properly.

If you want all of the up to date SP2 patches in an premade installer....go here:
Autopatcher XP
Really useful if you muck stuff up all the time and have to reload.

Interesting, I 've never heard of the autopatcher program and I thought I heard about all of these types of things. How about some background information on this. Can anyone give a brief description on what it does and etc? I am curious and may make it a part of my service at work.
