EVEREST Home Ed. Vs Asus PC Probe
I've been using Asus PC Probe for a long time now ... and well it's semi-accurate I guess but it's nice to have around.
I just decided to try out Everest Home Edition .... soooo first time I ran it, I double clicked on computer and then overclock to see what it was gonna say ... a few seconds later my Asus PC Probe gave me an alarm ...... the 5v line was doing 6.5-ish volts ..... wtf? then another alarm ... the 12v was doing over 16v ! wtffff soooooo ..... I never uninstalled a program so fast ..... Everest is outtttta here. Anybody else have this issue before? I'm running the very latest Asus PC Probe and I knoooooow my 12v and 5v aren't messing up for real ..... Everest was just conflicting ..... right? Anyways for now I have these readings: 12v = 11.529v 5v = 4.919v 3.3v = 3.248v vcore = 1.52v (overclocking my 2.4ghz athlon 64 3400+ to 2.6-ish Those are pretty normal for an Antec truepower right? or should I be worried? |

have you tried SpeedFan (4,22 at this moment)
it has acurate readings, try it. it should do something with slowing down coolers when temp is low, but i could not make that work fine at mine machine |
