PCI Latency Tool 2.0 was doing wonders for my comp's sound, stuttering, and FPS... that is until the other day! For some strange reason, it's now acting like I never installed it. I have tried deleting and reinstalling it but with no luck. Has anyone else had and/or know how to fix this problem??
EDIT: I have also tried all the other PCI Latency Tweak progs I could find, with no luck!

I have never used it, sorry.
Does it apply any registry tweaks or anything that may have become corrupted? |

Make sure the Apply on Startup setting is checked, and check with msconfig that it really puts itself to run at startup. If that's not the problem, describe what happens when you are using the program.

It probably wasn't the PCI latency that made the difference, and occasional stuttering in HL2 has more typically been related to the sound engine of the game. You could always try a latency value of 32 wich is a more normal one, but this PCI latency thing rarely seem to help for what I've seen.

I tried 32 also... which was a no go.
I really don't get it though. In the CS: Source Stress Test my comp averaged about 135 fps with my drivers set to HIGH QUALITY when the Latency tool was working... now my comp just barely beats that when my drivers are set to High Performance!
