Download SequoiaView

See details of the files on your drive,how much room they are taking,etc.....Pretty neat

However,I went to thier FTP and found THIS COPY of 1.3 and downloaded that as it didnt INSTALL (It is a zip with all the files)

I dont really understand what i was looking at (hehehehe)

WinDirStat - Windows Directory Statistics
Windirstat is similar, presenting other info at the same time as the treemap.

The treemap divides and subdivides the space into blocks for each directory, subdirectory and file, trying to keep them towards a squarer aspect, rather than generating thin strips.

Technische Universiteit Eindhoven: About Treemaps - this helps to explain the mapping

It can be handy for tracking down "elephants", as it is visible when a file or directory is large, sometimes from some bit of junk you forgot about. The file colouring also helps.

In Sequoiaview, you want the 1.3XP for XP or Vista.

TreeSizeFree does the trick ... I always use it to delete crap files (like installation files for Adobe/Quicktime/Java and so on)

I use treesize for years. It's a great little program.

little is correct.
Total is 1.42mb (no installation needed, just put the files in the same folder)
and that 1.42mb includes HELP files
