Gmail down?

Hey,

Can anyone access gmail... it's been inaccessible to me for more than 8 hours now!

www.gmail.com and mail.google.com both down

Just realised I overlooked something blatantly obvious!

I just updated to the new firefox (3.5) before I started having issues... tried gmail in IE and it works perfectly fine.

Looks like I'm going to have to roll back to 3.0.X

I haven't upgraded to 3.5 on the Vista installation I am on. I am going to move this to the software section in case others have this issue.

Anyway... I just went back to 3.0.X and it worked perfectly fine again - re-installed 3.5 and it's not working... so back to 3.0.X again!

Don't know if it's a general 3.5 issue... it could well be just me.

If anyone else comes accross this problem... my specs for comparison:

Win 7 RC (build 2100) x64
Q6600, 8GB, DFI X48, 8800GT

Just upgraded on Vista Ultimate X64 seems fine on both links. Might be a Win7 thing I am using Safari 4 on Win7.

Just upgraded to 3.5 on Win7 RC no issues with either link ... now back to Safari 4 on here

Here's a strange one.

Started up my computer today & gmail works through FF 3.5 :s

No idea why it wasn't working yesterday :s
