Damn WMP won't go toolbar!

Arggggg I've had enough!
I have a problem with the media player..
When I try to put it as a toolbar (Like windows knows how to do easily) it just refuses to go there, remaining minimized to the taskbar!
I have Googled the problem with some sort of nice findings but NONE of them helped me!

If you have some kind of experience with this problem and have fixed it, PLEASE help me too!!! It drives me crazy and I love the WMP11, I don't want Winamp or something like that...

No help here, but one of my systems, now disassembled/not in use, never would shrink WMP to the toolbar as it should have...... it must have been a windows install issue (XP SP2) as there's no way it could be hardware, even though the same OS was installed several times. All my other systems are fine, but that one never would. Come to think of it that was also my only retail (not OEM) copy of windows XP, not sure if that may be part of it or not.

I'm sure there's a registry hack that would fix it, but I don't know what.

Thanks, coudn't find the most suitable place for it, so I posted in general

Well running WMP11 here with Vista (32 bit) on another machine. I was listening to the Chickenfoot CD on the weekend using it and it did minimize the WMP controls to the right side of the task bar automatically.

Is that what you are trying to do?

Have you tried to ENABLE THE WMP TOOLBAR?

Right click your task bar and choose TOOLBARS then check WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER

Now just MINIMIZE your player and the toolbar will display!!
