what, you think you are too good for avg? It must be nice to sit on your mighty throne on the Everest!

From the three, I would go with antivir.

Re: Avira AntiVir or Nod32?

I haven't heard anything about comparisons between Avira and Nod lately but been quite busy, but I have used nod for a good few years now, and still am and haven't had any problems at all with it. But that said, I have never tried Avira.

Re: Avira AntiVir or Nod32?

AV comparatives. Avira got one of the highest scores if not the highest. Also, the site is pretty reliable in my opinion.

I'm using NOD32 at the moment, but the licence will expire in a month, so I got me a 30 day trial of Avira. We'll see who'll get my money at the end of the month Avira or ESET

zaim can you provide any proof or review?

I never had good experience with Avast. The only good thing is, it's light on system resources.

Anyway this thread is called "Avira AntiVir or Nod32?"

Re: Avira AntiVir or Nod32?

I have heard good things about Nod32 from a couple of people online that I trust their opinion so it must be good. I would still go for antivir after reading that "benchmark" in the link provided above. You will probably be ok with either one.

Re: Avira AntiVir or Nod32?

The only drawback of free avira is the lack of an email scanner.
