The Opera appreciation thread
Ok I know most people apparently on DH prefer Firefox to any browser, but I have to say, ive been playing with IE7 - 8, Chrome, Firefox and Opera and I just don't know why Opera isnt the browser of choice with educated geeks. It seems faster, has the best tab implemention system, has the wonderful gestures. It also never seems to crash when some dodgy sites bring down FF and IE....
Anyone else back me up here are or you all FF fanboys#? |

I don't see much point in this, but yeah, I agree with you. I wouldn't say that DH members prefer Firefox over any other browser though or that those that do are FF fanboys.
FF is good. Just not as good as Opera.

Opera made a miscalculation when they took so long to remove the price tag from their product, otherwise they would have been several times as big as they are now. It doesn't help to be a very good browser when it's so hard for old Opera to get attention, simply because it's old. It's been my secondary browser for a long time now, with Chrome in the overtaking lane behind Firefox at third.

Re: The Opera appreciation thread
I love Opera...great browser, think it was actually Zardon that put me on to it, haven't really spent much time with Chrome yet, waiting to see what the jury says about it!
