ituneshelper.exe causing aa/af not to stick...

My graphics card is an x800xt AGP running the latest ati drivers and using the latest iTunes 7. Through trial and error and countless driver re-installations, I finally figured out that this little itunes helper file is the reason behind my aa/af settings not sticking.

I realize there may be others with a similar problem and disabling ituneshelper.exe solved the problem I was having.

I previously had tried updating my drivers to the latest official Catalysts 7.10, then rolling back to previous versions as far back as 7.3 with no success. I used driver cleaner pro to no avail and I had almost given up when I decided to try stopping processes within the task manager.

Can anyone shed any light as to why this helper file would have any impact on how the ati drivers do their job? Either way, as long as I can still sync my iPod within itunes without this file running, everything should be fine from now on.

I'm having a similar problem. I have an acer ferrari 5000(x1600). Freshly new XP pro installed and 7.10 installed. I installed itunes 7.5. Everything runs good until I reboot my laptop. It would load and after 10 seconds and restarts my laptop. I did the same thing by killing all apple processes and it allowed me to get through a full reboot. But it hangs when I run itunes. Hopefully somebody can figure something out.
