Hi.
My NoteBook is a HP DV8000t Dual core

I had to change from ACPI multiprocessor, to MPS Multiprocessor PC
to get rid of severe dropouts that I had with my firewire audio card
(TC Konnekt24D)

There are a few side effects that I can live with:

-the good old "it is now safe to turn off your compiuter) is back
- The Texas Instruments flashMedia won't install (yellow ! on the
drivers)
- Yellow ! on Intel PCI Express root port 27D0 & 27D2
(the third one 27d4 seems OK)

beside that everything seems to work fine.

The question is, if there is something else that I'm not aware of.
Any idea?
