MSN Messenger weird problem
I have installed both 4.7 and 5.0 on my system...
now , whenever my OS startsup , i see both of these on the Task manager: MSMSGS.EXE MSMSGSr.exe is that ok? and if not, how can i fix it? -Eli |

Works fine on mine and has been for months
Mine don't auto start, but both will run at the same time with different .net passports with no problems. I have to keep 4.7 because my GameVoice software wont work with 5.0. I have 2 .net passports and 4.7 and 5.0 use a different one and it works great. Kind of handy too if you want to set them up with different users in each one, not that there would be anytimes you wouldn't want certain people to know you were online or anything...heh

Its completely normal as they are two different products. You are refering to the system's Windows Messenger and the consumer based MSN Messenger you just installed.

msn messenger is almost like windows messenger, they have some differences.....but yea...msn 6 is way better than 5
