Watercooling an X800XT

Is anyone here running a watercoolerd X800XT AIW?

I'd like to know if there is anything I need to be aware of before I go in and take off the orig HSF and 'submerge' my new card.

I'll be using this Koolance GPU waterblock http://www.koolance.com/shop/product...roducts_id=104

Also, is there an application that I can use that will allow me to monitor the GPU temperature?

ATI Tool will let you monitor temps.

But you'd probably want to post this in the OC'ing forum, you'd get better results, and Lowfat would be able to help you out with watercooling best, he knows his stuff when it comes to that. I also remember that he hates Koolance

heh heh Hating Koolance is popular with the 'Watercooling Snob' crowd.

It's just like Firefox/Opera vs IE, Linix vs Windows, Creative vs any other sound option.

I don't think its on such a large scale

I think its more an acquired taste thing. Like Firefox vs. Opera. Every freakin' person is jumping on the Firefox wagon and praise to FF and all that....but everything Firefox does now Opera did years earlier, and did it right the first time. They just didn't make it free right away
