Any word on Theater 550 support? I know ATI has coupled that chip with Cyberlink software, but I've heard some rumblings about a MMC release which would support the chip nonetheless. Am I mistaken?

What doesn't work is Windows Media player nor any media player, MMC included, will play any .mpg or mpeg files back. I got the video working but no audio.
Recording I haven't tried yet as I've been fixing this problem |

Oh I figured out what it was.... Driver Cleaner gone berzerk I think (too many filters).
I'll plug in TV and test it and see how it goes. |

It won't recognize my HDTV Wonder card at all. This has been a problem for a while now, but I don't much care, as I have a TV in the living room...only, now that TV broke.
![]() When starting the TV app, I am greeted with this: "Unable to Start TV - TV Player failed to initialize. Check the Windows Device Manager to ensure that the correct video driver has been installed and is working properly before attempting to restart TV" Please god tell me I'm not going to have to get an ATi graphics card on here to make it work |

In a word complete crap.
I love ati but there loseing it . Ever since the digital sound your tv stutters or freezes when the harddrive is used. Now your stuck with tv on demand on all the time which makes the sound and freezeing 10 times worse. Of course your recording no longer has a pause just start and stop and the tv picture has gotten worse. Of hand this and the drivers which mess big time with 3d apps and its a total joke. |

Ugh....re-tried, and NONE of the MMC works on my machine....the launcher workks [yippee?], but all the actual programs crash hardcore and cough up things like "unable to initialize"
UPDATE: Got it working. Try installing video drivers AFTER MMC if you're having problems

Well I 'm going back to 9.08 My sound does not work unless I enable it manualy from suround mixer. It could be because this is an 8500? Plus it is defaulting to Mono even using the input dongle. Not happy at all.

This release is abysmal. It incorrectly recognizes my X800 pro as an all-in-wonder and doesn't allow for the correct audio inputs for tv capture (via VIVO). This is pretty unacceptable. When I try to register for support on the ATI website, I cannot even select the correct card, as ATI seems to be unaware of its existence. ASUS AX800PRO/TVD.

imo, i hate Easylook..
all i run is the basic TV .... just give me the ability to change channel, adjust volume... and record. And allow me to schedule... all that other crap is useless..... Also they fix it so that if your monitor is primary and tv is secondary, then having the tv window on the primary, theater mode on 2ndary... but only channel information showing up on the primary little window.. nothing on the 2ndary?

Go into setup. Then into channel list. Select the connection that you dont want to use TV on Demand for. Right click it, select properties and then choose "never use tv on demand on this connector". (The above is from memory so may not be word for word but should get you there) Hopefully that will help ease your problem. As for the stuttering. Its not something i've seen on my system. Whats your system specs? Please include driver versions being used etc so ATI can try to replicate. |

GUIDE+ broken
With this release (9.13) my GUIDE+ seems to be broken now: When you open up GUIDE+ the TV does not embed itself any more and when you select different channel through the GUIDE+, it does not change TV channel.
