AIW X800XT help.....MMC probs arrrg
Hi all!
I recently bought a AIW x800xt card to replace my aging 9800pro and couldnt be happier with it......except with MMC and the tv software. Intially, the first couple of days everything was fine and i had no probs. suddenly, atisched.exe would crash as well as the tv app when changing channels. ive tried reloading all the drivers and software using drivercleaner etc to no avail. gaming is great though, handles everything i throw at it. anyway, anyone know of any free 3rd party software that is compatible with the AIW's software/hardware & encoding/decoding methods for PVR? otherwise i fear ill have to reinstall my leadtek wintv 2000 card (great card also) and reoccupy a pci slot. anyway, any advice and help is greatly appreciated.
ps. im running the latest Cats and mmc from ati's website and havn't installed anything new on the system in terms of programs or drivers since i installed the card it self with the software it came with.

Disable fastwrites in CCC and you should be fine. Also, make sure that ATITool isn't running when you're using the TV app.

It might. Disabling FW stopped my Guild Wars from glitching with sounds

Actually, all you need to do is delete the ATI scheduler registry key...I forget which one it is as I'm at work.
