AIW 9000 at 1920 by 1200 res.

I just got the dell 2405 monitor which is supposed to work with the ATI AIW 9000 card at its native 1920 by 1200 resolution. I've used Driver Cleaner to get rid of my old drivers and then installed the latest Catalyst driver, but I can't get it to work. What happens is, windows xp loads and for about 30 seconds the monitor is in 1920 by 1200 resolution. But then the monitor suddenly goes black. I'm assuming this is because the system is finding something at startup that does this but I don't know what. Anyone have any ideas? I would have thought that it would have to do with an old driver but I don't know how to check if there any on the system. I'd hoped Driver Cleaner would have gotten rid of them.

Thanks,
Silas

System Specs

Check to see if your monitor supports the resolutions your RAMDAC is capable of.

Your card should be capable of 2048x1536 at 85 Hz so I think its a monitor limitation.
