Desperate!!!! Please Help!!!

Ive been having MASSIVE WDM issues w/ my computer. I'll post the problem first, and then my specs at the bottom.

in device manager, I have "device cannot start, code 10" for ATI WDM Rage Theater Audio, ATI WDM Rage Theater Video, and ATI WDM TV Audio Crossbar, and no matter how many times I re-install the drivers, I still get these errors in device manager

its like the computer doesnt even recognize the install. no matter which way i go, i always get those errors.

durring reboot, it detects the hardware automatically and tries to install the drivers, then says : "an error occured bla bla bla your hardware may not work properly" it does this EVERY TIME, reguardless of me using either the CD, or the downloaded installs from ATI.

Its really like nothing happens at all during the install software. What do I do?

*however.... ALL other software installs just fine, even the ATI software. Its only the WDM capture drivers that are having the problems. I really have no idea as to what to do

please help!

You forgot your specs. What card are you dealing with? An AIW radeons or one of the TV tuner stand-alones? Which catalyst version too? I know there's a lot of folks having problems with the TV wonder series with Cats 4.1 and up. In all honesty though it sounds like the card itself maybe damaged.

The answer to your question very well lies here...

Omega Install Prob

Depending on how many times you've installed the WDM and/or the driver, you may need to do a clean install of the WDM and driver.

Hope this helps!
