Big Grin n00b AIW 9700 Pro owner

Ok guys my new AIW 9700 Pro arrived today and I have no real grasp of it's range of functionality...

What drivers do you recommend, I currently have 3.7 Catalyst installed ?

How well do they overclock ?

Do you use ATi DVD or a 3rd party app like Power DVD ?

What are your benchmarks like ?

I don't own one (see desktop system below) but in order to get the capture feature to work with the MMC 7.9 upgrade for the tuner I had to leave the DVD player 5 out of the mix. I use PowerDVD just fine with mine - it should work with your AIW. Took a whole evening of mixing and matching WDM's, DirectX 9, drivers, etc. to get everything to work together - but it's stable now, and takes Omegadrive's driver releases without disturbing the MMC stuff (so far...).

The cat 3.9's are about the fastest overall drivers yet released as per a news item link to a review posted either here or at Anand's site.

As for overclocking, your mileage will vary...
