anyway to get my Rogers HD terminal work with media center?

This is what I have been wanting for years, and I can never find the solid answer online. I hear no its not possible, and other places they say its possible. Rogers here in Toronto uses the Scientific Atlanta for all customers. I want to run it into my comp or TV card to receive to receive HD. Its quite tricky with the DRM on the content, and in Canada no one has the damn cable card. Basic cable sucks on the comp. I woulnd't mind buying some new equipment but nothing too crazy.

anyone know a workaround? windows 7 is adding some new hdtv support features

Re: anyway to get my Rogers HD terminal work with media center?

These cable companies and their card business. ugh it angers me. Apparantely my cable company here in the states is getting close to bringing us cards that we can slip into our tuners but not yet

EDIT:

No it will not act like a tuner itself. This is another product that will integrate in conrtolling your cable box so it will change the channel and record the output. Pretty much just like a standard PCI hauppauge tuner with the IR blaster sadly.
