??? need help with using tv as extended desktop

Hi.
I'm using Omega Drivers 4.8.442 for my ATI X1950PRO. I'm trying to use my television as an extended desktop. When I turn my computer on, the tv turns on and shows a flickering of the POST and Windows loading screen. After that it just goes blank. When I go into the display properties, everything seems to be working fine (with the exception of my tv being blank), it recognizes my tv as an extended desktop, I can even drag windows over to the tv desktop, but nothing shows on the tv itself. Can anyone help me figure out why my tv isn't showing anything?

my tv is set to NTSC. the refresh rate is at 60Hz, resolution 800x600. I don't understand the problem, I used catalyst drivers and the dual monitors worked fine. I absolutely despise catalyst drivers, though.

I think you should set the resolution to 720x480 since that is the SD resolution in NTSC.

Oh but you do understand the problem. The Omega drivers are mucking up your TV out in some way, shape or form.

I don't see what there is to hate so virulently about the stock Catalyst drivers though...
