Are there any confirmed TV capture cards that work with Vista 32 bit?

Well since my TV Wonder 650 doesn't seem to work with Vista just yet, and I need to get some stuff recorded ASAP, are there any tv capture cards or devices that I can plug a red/white/yellow set of cables into that will allow me to record and watch at the same time?

Any thoughts?

I've done a little digging around and found that ATI/AMD claim that the TV Wonder Products DO work under all versions of VISTA. However, I can't right now verify that myself as I don't have a copy of VISTA on which to test it. (Only RC1 and RC2 which I'm not about to install at this late stage.)

PS and EDIT:

If I were in the same predicament, I'd consider doing a Dual Boot system and put XP on a separate partition at least for the time being. I was doing Dual Boot without any problems in order to check out RC1 and RC2 VISTA for a while.

thanks, but it says there's no drivers available yet, which makes no sense since I can find Vista 32 bit drives on the download page. Ugh, so confusing. I'm just gonna return this thing and wait for official Vista ones I guess.

Aiw drivers for vista 32 are out is you type into google 7.2 beta ati drivers.

They work fine even if were not supose to know.

Toss your ATI TV tuner away, and pick yourself up a Hauppauge WinTV PVR card. I've built quite a few machines with the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 tuner card (which is an MPEG2 card btw) running Windows MCE and Vista Home Premium/Ultimate, and the card has worked flawlessly every single time... except once (sometimes the card doesn't like boards that use VIA chipsets). Just be careful of which card you get as there are different versions of the 150. The one I usually get is the regular OEM card, which is a full height card, comes with 1 coax connectors (sometimes 2), red/white/yellow composite connectors, and an S-Video connector, doesn't come with an MCE remote, and you can get it for less than $70 US / $90 CAN (NCIX, for instance has it here in for the US, and here for CANADA. There's also a retail card, however Hauppauge is known for 'switching out' cards for a different model whenever they are short of stock, and in this case the model they switch out for, the 900, is a POS. Not always the case, but sometimes.

An alternative would be the WinTV PVR 500, which is a dual-tuner card.

I think its generally a consensus that ATI TV hardware sucks, and it isn't getting better. AMD now has the OCUR card blunder on their hands (which may or may not be their fault but either way its a bad omen and doesn't bode well for them).
