TV Out Problem

My x800xt aiw keeps thinking that my tv is pal, it is ntsc since I'm in canada. The picture is in black and white and there doesn't seem to be any way of forcing ntsc output. I've used both s-video, and composite yellow out. Both result in black and white. I've tried the latest catalyst, and recently all of the software that came on the cd to no avail. Please help!

You sure you didn't mistakenly get a card from europe or one with PAL enabled in hardware only?

Usually in North American cards you can't even enable PAL (I can't for example and I have the same card)

Well now that tells us something. Try flashing with an NTSC BIOS and then you should get the best of both
