MMC 9.15 Discussion...

Hey Folks,
Noticed that the previous (9.14) poll had all of 33 responses so we'll forgo the poll, but please carry on disucussion of your use and issues using MMC 9.15 here.

Leaving the 9.14 MMC stuck (but closed to further posting), as there is good information there that can assist as a reference for everyone...

From the release notes:

Resolved Issues

The following section provides information on issues that have been resolved with the latest release of the ATI Multimedia Center™. These include the following:
  • Entering the Broadcast time option and selecting to start watching a TV program from the beginning after watching TV for an extended period of time no longer results in the Time Shift slider bar moving to the beginning, but the playback of the video remains in the same place. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21519
  • Starting a UTV session and activating Picture-in-Picture no longer results in the inability to change channels on the main channel. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21526
  • Setting the region to PAL no longer results in the UTV window appearing slightly off center. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21513
  • Attempting to export a verdanahift file by pressing the record button on the remote no longer results in a Cannot export dialog box appearing Further details can be found in topic number 737-22384
  • Running through the set-up of the TV using the ATI Remote Wonder no longer results in the audio not being heard after completing the TV setup. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23094

Known Issues with the ATI Multimedia Center™

The following section provides information on known issues and product limitation for the ATI Multimedia Center™ 9.15. These include the following:
  • Scheduling a recording using any supported format that differs from the format previously used, may on rare occasions result in the scheduled recording failing to start. Further details can be found in topic number 737-20031
  • Launching a DTV application followed by adjusting the color settings may result in the color setting failing to be retained once the DTV application is closed and then relaunched. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23082
  • Using the remote to schedule a TV recording under the Windows MCE operating system may result in the scheduled time failing to be applied and reverting back to the current time. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23073
  • Audio distortion may be heard when using an ATI All-In-Wonder X800 product when watching a live TV broadcast. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23074
  • Using the ATI MMC 9.15 to playback a DVD title may result in the DVD playback failing to display an image when attempting to rotate the full screen image left or right using the hotkey manager in the Catalyst Control Center. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23075
  • The picture in picture window size may decrease when using the feature with a PAL version of the ATI All-In-Wonder 9600. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23076

  • The audio and video may be out of sync for a few seconds when launching the TV option of the ATI MMC. Further details can be found in topic number 737-23078
