Ok, im not sure you understand or not, if you do then just ignore this.
The score ISNT relevant to winning the prize. everyone will have the same chance (ignoring me in the list obviously im not included - even though im folding on a few laptops).
This is to ensure a guy who has folded since this started doesnt get beaten by some rich guy who suddenly joins a week before the competition ends with 3 X1950XT's.
This is as fair to everyone as possible. Also once the competition stops I recommend people dont just quit folding, there will be more incentives down the line to keep going so you have been prewarned. I want as many DH as possible doing this, it is helping ATI rise the rankings and it is more importantly for a great cause, and as we never really started our own folding team this is the best way to get together as a group and do something positive.

Plz help out.I changed the name from hackerx to DHhackerx. When i click on user statistics i get my page with score=0.And when i click on team statistics i get the ATI page but my new name aint there.
And i keep getting this error saying can't connect to server. And the info in the display screen doesn't last for more than 2 secs.

You have to finish one WU before your name will be on the list.

"The Winner will be announced on Driver Heaven. Please use a name when you fold the SAME as your DH forum name. For example if you are called "PETER" on Driver Heaven forums, use a folding name such as DH_Peter."
Great! But I had to when I saw the example!

There are a lot of FAQs and info on the net on how to best optimize your system for completing WUs. Infact, the best information is in F@Hs own FORUM. It takes some time to go through it, but trust me, it's worth it.

Outside of this thread, are there plans to have an official sticky folding thread or perhaps a forum area for DH folding subteam?
And are there long terms plans for the DH folding subteam outside of the future contests/draws (that I'm sure everybody likes!)?
e.g. a special tag stating rank on the team by contribution (e.g. for 1K Newbie, 10K regular member, 100K master, etc.)?

so it says my estimated date of completion of this WU is 416 days+.... it has been over an hour hasn't finished even a frame... i wouldnt think a 1.66GHz core duo should be that bad.

Which client are you running? The GPU client, CPU client? And which version? GUI or console?

No, we are just helping ATI with this cause, we have no plans to make our own folding team or having forums etc for it.

When a WU starts it always shows a bogus number. Once your first frame is finished, you'll get a more realistic number. At least, that was the case for me. (I'm only in my second WU. They can take days.)

Thanks for the reply - We have this thread anyway
(p.s. I wasn't thinking about a seperate team, just continuing as a subteam for ATI's folding team, similar to 3DGPU.com that has a folding subteam under TechReport's folding team)

CPU GUI client. It is going faster now, only going to take a few days now to finish.

yeah a possibility, but I think the DH moniker before the name shows us all who we are.
Everyone keep folding, lets help ATI get up the rankings.

will this client work on an X1900 aiw card? I know it doesn't work with Omega's drivers on my card, so should I try the ATI drivers out, or will that be a waste of time?

It should - how to do it I can't say (as I don't have that card), but check this thread out for a full discusion on that card http://forum.folding-community.org/v...ic.php?t=16328
edit: I read something that you have to manually set the driver to X1900XT for it work properly. Or wait a few weeks for the new version of the GPU client.
