Pissed Eax I F**king Hate It

I thought eax was cool a couple years ago, but now its just pissing me the hell off, what really pisses me off is the cutscenes and hard to hear weapons and people talking. I was just playing el matador and I turned off hw mixing and eax and I'm still have crappy eax sound effects playing after there turned off.. I hate creative and I hope they all die of some damn disease. I would like to take eax code and put it all on a dvd and set on fire and anyone who made it.. Mark this day I actually wrote something here.. I must now go ram my head into a concrete wall.

If you have an Audigy card do yourself a favour: turn off CMSS 3D (if you have the newest drivers it's under Star | Programs | Creative Labs | Audio Console | CMSS 3D tab). CMSS 3D has a way of.. well.. over extending sounds. While listening to music, for instance, it will produce static, or just make everything sound like $4!7 (this effect is really bad in any of the Battlefield games).

well, i got an audigy 4 for some time now, and i never ever experience nothing like that, my eax effects are great, i love the effects now it seems so real when i play

Is this because my EAX is 2 or at least different from yours?

at least i can hear everything very loud and clear....

Good luck to you

I didnt have the problem you have either. I guess the cards dont like you that much. Just buy a DD live card and use those if it bothering you that much.
