Aha! It is possible !!
Well actually I am using a Zoom G2 effects processor between my guitar and the PC and from the Zoom output I am using a regular guitar cable to enter the Line In.
The thing is...I also have program that simulates guitar effects,it is called Guitar Rig 2.
Very good program,and in it...in the settings panel I set the ASIO inputs and outputs and it plays stereo.But..well,software emulating guitar pedals is...unsatisfactory at least.
That's why I bought a hardware unit.And it does a lot better,but the sound is mono.
The Zoom G2 certainly outputs stereo,but now that you've mentioned,I am sure the cable is the bottleneck...I don't know where to find a stereo cable to plug into the line in...I will check some stores.Thank you.
