Too many questions...

I'm new to this forum and to ati's all in wonders, with the AIW x1900, and I have many questions:

1.- I live in Spain (PAL) and bought my AIW through ebay, and when I received it, I saw it was the ntsc version... I wanted to know if the TV chip (theater 200 or whatever) can be replaced for a PAL version more or less easily, and if I can buy it anywhere.

2.- As I read in these frmus, ATI's MMC is crap. Then could you tell me good multimedia center software (excluding windows media center).

3.- I have read people has been able to overclock this card to 650 650, and I wanted to get advice of people who have, of what coolers to use, and at how much would i have to increase voltage.

4.- I've tried to capture from composite video, and some programs such as windows movie maker will let me, but others like Adobe Premiere (which will save me a lot of time) don't. When I select Ati Analog 200 or whatever it's called, it will take the tv tuner as source, and wont let me choose for other inputs, as composite or svideo. I have an older capture card, and with this one it will work. Does anybody know how to solve this issue?

5.- This is my last question. In the box for the all in wonder it says it's special for editing videos. Does the card have something that accelerates video editing or just the multiple capture settings are what make it special?

See if you can help me with any of these issues, and sorry for my noobness...

Thanks

To answer #1 no the chip cannot be replaced, you need a new card.
2. BeyondTV works nice
3. May want to ask that in another forum, this forum is more for the multimedia function of the card
4. No idea there, sounds like it may be the programs themselves
5. No it doesn't, it has decoding functions but I don't know if it leverages the GPU for encoding functions

OK, thx for your answers, but one thing. Isn't beyond tv just for tv? I wanted a full media center, with music and everything, more or less as the ati mmc...

Also, if anyone knows answer 4, please tell.

BeyondTV does MORE than MMC could ever hope to do and does it 100x better

For #4 there isn't just one answer to the question, try seeing if theres anything in common with the programs that don't work that may be causing the issue
