Less differentiation in the graphics field. ATI was red, now it's green like NVIDIA. I call that a downgrade.
Besides, where's the Catalyst link on the main page? That was a major benefit over NVIDIA.

It's fine. It looks similar to the old site to me, just a different color.

Undecided at the momment. Colors don't mean anything to me. What does, is how effective a company can deliver and support their products. The issue on the catalyst link no longer being on the front page is no big deal to me.

I liked the old site better, but I'm sure I will get used to the new site over time.

Voted : "It is awful, AMD already have their own site, no need to dominate ati.com"
And I think that sums it up for my point of view...

I like the new site - the design is well done and easy to read...
The dominance of AMD as the primary presence at the site seems truthful and representative of what the company is becoming - sets the minds of users toward what AMD has in mind...

Looks like the consumer is speaking, the question is do the corporations listen?

The web site is fine but I'm more interested in what happens with ATI itself, do we still get cards that look great or are those days numbered

Don't like it. It seems that AMD just sorta said "OK, all your base belong to us" and took over ATI. ATI can't represent, but what is expected when one company buys out the other? The layout stinks too, it's like it's just one big mess (slides for ATI, the usual little window links for ATI) and then shove in some AMD stuff on the right and top.

Even if they promoted it as "ATI powered by AMD", atleast it keeps an awesome brand alive!
Going green sucks... demoting ATI to almost a product line of AMD just doesn't work in my mind...
AMD say they plan to keep discrete graphics alive; well if you ask me, there's going to be a hell of a lot of confused people out there wondering what the difference between an NVIDIA graphics card and AMD CPU or AMD graphics card is! (well not on driverheaven ofcourse, but you know what i mean )
But can you imagine, some guy in PC World - "Erm ok, so I need an AMD CPU, but oh right and an AMD ATI Card, what's this do then? So what's NVIDIA on this other PC? Can't I just have NVIDIA and not AMD?" ummm

I don't think people are ready for "AMD Graphics" yet, and until they lose all Intel licences, it would be premature to brand the motherboards as AMD.
Also leads to the inevitable questions about using AMD Graphics with a non-AMD processor.

It's really the same site (even the problems with Firefox/SeaMonkey are the same). They just changed the theme.

All that matters is how quickly you can find the driver section and that's in the same place as before. Although the link to the drivers doesn't work for me.

it's the exact same site guys.....right down to the clunky tree-structured ASP pages full of links.
THey simply changed the front page, the URL, and the CSS to "green". Although, the links in the drop down menus on the front page still light up red, which i find kind of funny since they went to such lengths to make everything else green and pruple [why purple?]
I like it though....it's clean and effective, and didn't really change aside from some styling queues from the new corporate landscape.
I do however, think HP is taking a much better road with their buyout of VoodooPC then AMD has with ATi, however. ATi is too powerful a brand name to toss to the wind like that, but nobody asked me
