help after omega driver install

i have just bought a 19 widescreen for my pc but i couldnt get the res that my new screen supports, so i updated the video card drivers with omega 3.8.219.
my card is a aiw 9800 pro
first thing to say is the drivers have made a big diffrence when playing games.
but when i click tv on the on the softwere that came with the video card i now get a message telling me there no drivers installed, i think this means that there no drivers for the tv tuner but where do i start .do i need new drivers or do i need to update the softwere??
sorry i am a bit lost with this

You still have to install MMC and the WDM drivers for your AIW card. The Omega drivers only install the Graphics or video card drivers as if it were just a regular 9800 not an AIW card.

If you plan on using the Omega drivers after installing them install "LATEST WDM DRIVERS, NEEDED FOR VIVO AND AIW CARDS: (3.99MB)" off of this page, http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php Reboot and then you install the ATI Multimedia Center 9.15 drivers.
You should have already uninstalled the MMC before upgrading the graphics drivers and done a fresh reinstall with all the new drivers.

The WDM drivers are also listed right on the graphics driver page as a separate download on the ATI drivers download page.

He may have to uninstall the old MMC as the newer WDM and graphics drivers seem to be tied into the newer MMC drivers.

Fair warning: DON'T upgrade it if it works... do yourself that favour

this is a Major point with the AIW's I think it should be in the manuakl and be a sticky!..lol
WHen you get things working Leave it alone..there are so many pieces and driver combos that if you find a good working configuration just leave it alone. Actually if you use resotre points, then set a restore point so you can roll back to it. Glad you got it working.
