What does the 10k1 support?
Hi folks,
i just dived into playing soundfonts via my DSP chip (sblive5.1).
My question is: how can you tell the DSP e.g. that it should play the soundfonts in mono? (for sliding and stuff) - does it respond to Portamento? I tried sending portamento CCīs to it - no change ...
Does it has different filters besides the lowpass one?
Would love to know a list of supported things! (i know attack and release can already be changed by using controllers)
-Dennis

If you look at the KX help file - 'MIDI Implementation' chart - it clearly shows ALL those 'supported features' you were asking about - and also see that portimento is 'under development'.
The best way to learn about sondfonts is to edit them in Veinna - making them 'mono' is relatively easy (better yet - make one your self) ... but not sure why you would do that when you can use a midi CC to acomplish almost the same effect.... ??

AFAIK - its a low pass filter only...
and yes... there is a 'modulation' envelope that can be applied to filter as well as pitch.
The KX developer has claimed (some where... in these forums??) that KX IS SF 2.1 complient (even tho CL drivers are not themselves)

Ah, okay - thank you!
Iīm starting to dive into music production using three CL cards (1x SBLive5.1, 1x Audigy and 1x Audigy2) which is REALLY fun! http://www.driverheaven.net/images/s...big%20grin.gif
Thatīs very nice, i can use up to 16 analog outputs now, have dozens of simultaneous FX at once and a "192 voice hardware soundfontplayer" on top of that - couldnīt be happier!
Once again, thanks to the kX team - you did a wonderful job!

IMHO, placing any effect, controllable through kX Ctrl, between 2/3 Src (Synth out) and Analogue output in DSP gives you a bunch of stuff...
