Hi Eugene,
That thread is a sticky at the top of this forum (maybe that is why you did not see it), but I think it is currently postponed (according to the latest post from TravelRec, within that thread).

Uploading is not the problem so far, download is a problem for me since I only have a slow internet connection at home. At work we have DSL, but I donīt know how long my job will stay on. @ Maddog6, dj_stick and all others who are willing to upload wav-files: do this in near time and I will see what I can do then. All infos about the project I will put into the sticky thread related to it. Maybe Iīll find some time on the weekends under bad weather conditions
Greetings,

i think the reason why people were not sending you stuff was because of them having to post the songs to you. i tried to make it easier for them by saying they could send to me over internet and i would post to you.. but no replies.
maybe sending over the internet to you would be the best way. i certainly would be happy to do that as soon as you like...
what is the best format for you? mp3 is obviousley smaller file size and you could translate to wav?
best wishes!

Ohhhhh - not 'restless night syndrome' - hehe - the #1 side effect of fatherhood..
Yes I do have an account... ?? may I ask why you ask?
And - just think of all those missed writing opportunities 5 mins after Isaac finally falls asleep - I mean - 'if theres a will theres a way' - right???
Right - lol

Of course, Amelie wakes up once or twice each night and this for the last 6 1/2 months but why not - I can stand it anyhow
For the files: I prefer .wav 48kHz in .rar format over all others since compressed files like mp3 are not good for sound quality, unless itīs coded with 320kbps fraunhofer codec with best quality settings; donīt forget that the material is intended for a CD, not for an I-pod The finest would be a cubase project file with all audio files, but this is just a dream. I think we have to make some compromises.
Happy weekend, Trev and Maddog6 and all others

FLAC or Monkey's would be ideal for this purpose, and like you say, 320K mp3's are indistinguishable from the origional (on my monitors at least).

..And I have a track or two for y'all
