Prolbem ripping dvd's with dvd decrpyter

I have an lg dvd burner that's has an 8.0x read speed. Altough dvd decrypter only reads the dvd at 2.0x, is there any way to make it rip faster?

Also it uses alot of CPU, ~99, it makes it so that I can't do anything else while I'm ripping, first time it's ever done that..

System Specs

personally i wouldn't recomend doing other things while ripping or compressing DVD's, do a google search for DVD FAB decrypter, reliable and newer than DVD Decrypter, not as many options but for ripping, i've had no trouble.

rip some dvd's you know worked fast before & see what happens, maybe the dvd is just 'older' or more 'protected'
