Nvidia 6800 GT Question

I bought 1 of those Y'day.. and have a Question about it.

Sorry about my poor English btw.. I live in the Netherlands.

It's the AGP version BTW 256 MB DDR3 .. so here's the Question..

In the Nvidia Tab you can select some settings.. You see a slidebar and you can pu tit to High Quality - Quality - PErformance - High Performance...

Wich one is recommend?

Also My system is a AMD XP3000 With 512 x 2 PC3200 RAM (DC) With a Abit NF7-S Mobo

I'm playing only BF2 with this card and Yesterday i tried out Ghost recon Advanced Warfighter.. Wow it looked truely amazing!

Are there more people with similar systems like me.. WHo ar eplaying BF2 to..
Please share your settings..

Thx in advance

those settings you're talking about, are meant for the image quality of the card. "high quality" means that you'll have very little if any "jaggies" in the game so you'll have better graphics, but you'll lose some frames per second (FPS). putting the card in "high performance" means you have the most amount of "jaggies" making the overall image quality of the game look like crap, but the game will run smooth as glass (or have a significantly higher FPS than "high quality" setting).

everything else in between is a combination of the two

that depends on the game.

if it's a newer game (like BF2 or newer), your system overall won't be able to handle the high settings, so you'll want to set the quality settings down a bit.

if it's an older game like COD or MOHAA for example, then yea, crank up the quality, AA/AF resolution and everything

I just leave my slider on Quality and don't play with it. I have a 6800GT AGP as well, so thought I'd share.
