Dowry Maiden and They'll Bury You
I haven't posted anything in a while, so here are two treats for you.
Dowry Maiden
Man was born, with no name,
He lived alone in time of blame!
Woman came, set all to shame,
What must suffice, is all the same.
She weaved the web, of sudden death,
She placed it over his golden head.
So seduced, he became,
so reduced, so deranged.
He is under her spell still,
one that destroys his soul and binds his will!
Rolling thunder, it shall kill,
like the dowry maiden's iron will.
They'll Bury You
Morning, sunshine, noon again
Work late, eat late, sleeping in.
Daybreak, up late, alone with friends
Their names? Can't recall; Don't know them!
Seen them, known them, but not sure when,
They've changed, they've arranged, a coffin for him.
Buried soft, amid the warmth, of envy's sin
There it waits, and makes, the end for him.
Put him down, set him in, cover those eyes,
And begrudge him then!
He can't see, can't deem, what's happening when
Those, the friends, they make the end!
