Mic input with A2ZS Notebook

Hello.
Just a little question...
Is it possible to use mic input for recording with Audigy2 ZS Notebook. I installed latest
kX 3538j release.
Regards to all.

I think what I read is that the analog inputs aren't working yet for the A2 ZS notebook. Hopefully next version he will have that part figured out.

Edit...............
See this thread, I don't know.. maybe the MME inputs work. Do some searching in the forum.

Thank you Doug_W for your answer.
Eugene mentioned that support for A2ZS Notebook was added in 3538j. So I thought it maybe work.
I hope that in some of next versions this would be solved.

hello, no at this moment it is not directly possibile. but when you have another pc with kx-compatible card and the livedrive, you can record from mic. i do it like this.
connect the mic into the plug on the livedrive, connect a optical from digital out from the pc to the digital in on the A2ZS NB (digi in is working, but in the ProFX-scr you have to use CD-SPDIF. i donīt use the default dsp-setup i use only ProFX)

no, it is not supported via asio
pls check alsa-sound.org (linux driver) -- if they support analog input on a2zsnb, I will do my best to fix the problem, otherwise, I see no solution at the moment
