which 9500????

Hay guys.
I'm wondering which 9500 128MB should i buy to moded to 9700.connect3D 9500 128MB or sapphire 9500 128MB.
let me just tell u that i'm from europe and i'm buying in Germany,so there must be left some 9500 128MB cards that they are on 9700 PCB.
i read some articles that there is more succes on connect3d cards comparing to sapphire 9500 128MB cards.

They used 9700PRO PCB until they finalized the design. If you find RED PCB 9500 with 128MB, then it can be modded. If it is black (I think), then it can't be modded. Other cards than Sapphire can't be modded because they don't have 256-bit memory bus, so you can mod only 9500 to 9500PRO. So, if you are looking for 9500 because you only want to mod it, hmm... you will get disappointed. Sorry, that's it

but i read on some forums that connect3D 9500 128MB can also be moded to 9700 and that card has red PCB

Hmm... I know that it has red PCB (but I never heard that it can be modded), but are you sure that even last models can be modded (meaning - that they have 256-bit memory bus).

well if connect3d 9500 128MB has hidden those extra 128bit memory bus,i don't realy know.i'll give the link of that german store-> connect3d 9500 128MB

Hmmm...
This is not really possible (or memory interface is declared 128 and really 256, which is quite possible).

let me just remind u,that on 9500 128MB those additional 128bit memory bus are hidden in 9500 128MB and 4 pipelines to.u enable those hidden features by softmod.

256-bit is enabled all the time. SoftMod can enable 4 pipelines only.
But maybe this is only a wrong specification, not real hardware thing.
Don't know.

i must admit i've never seen an original 9500 128MB with 256bit memory bus in pricelists,only 128bit.

Buy before this card runs out of stock - Connect3D Radeon 9500 can be modded to 9700 Pro!

i was too late.at the store that i gave link above,the 9500 128MB can not be bought,so i order connect3D 9500pro.
anybody with connect3d boards here,i wanna know how good this boards are
