New mellow one...
Ok - so Lex just released a pretty cool VSTi Drumkit for KX users only...
I had this one laying around and felt the drum sounds that came with the VSTi fit the context of this song/clip - its not really a complete song - more of a 'example'..
Anyway - here it is - like it or not.
Its call 'Lex Drum Experiment'

Oh - if you can 'classify' what kind of song you would condsider it...please post your opinion..
(Im not looking for 'Lame', or 'Crappy' etc...)
To me Id say its kinda a 50's ballad or something - with a twist..
<edit>
I changed where all my songs are hosted .

Too bad I didn't make it to listen to it.
Could you e-mail it or re-publish? After all these comments on your music I feel sad that I can't have this...

I just gave a listen to this one.
I really liked everything except for the running chord line (organ/accordian?). I do not know if that part is just too loud, or if it is the instrument used, or if it is the repetitivness of it, or what, but, I did not like that part. I thought it was OK at the beginning, but not throughout the whole song (so I guess it is probably the repetitivness that I did not like).
Also, the song ended a bit abruptly.
Again, I did really like the rest of it (guitar/bass/drums), and I think with some minor changes (maybe even just a re-mix), I would like it more.

Thanks Russ... the repetitivness is definitly a problem, and it ended abruptly because of that - hehe. It was more of a way to show off lex's drums vsti. It was simply a cut and paste deal then I added the guitar fills.
Oh, btw - its just a saw wave/synth sound - I just liked the harmonics it posses', so I kept it - its from an old 'vintage' emultor sound font (old as in originally an .SBK file - AKA pre sf2 format from the AWE32 era)
When I get inspired, or some new idea where to take the song... I will post it here.
Thanks again for listening.
