Driverheaven - Shutdown 1.8
It is a really simple tool. With this tool you can restart, logoff or shutdown your pc or let it go into hibernate or standby after a certain time. You can enter the time and date or you can enter like an amount of hours, minutes and seconds. Also you can set it to start at windows startup and let it countdown from a given amout of hours and minutes and than let it logoff, restart, shutdown, hibernate or standby. For more info read the readme.
Changes since 1.7
New:
- Option for Idle
- Option for Standby
- Option for Hibernate
Improved:
- Code parts redone
You can download it http://www.drivercleaner.net/index.php?site=tools

Problem with TIME activated shutdown
Using DH Shutdown 1.8
Problem : Time activated shutdown does not work (not response). However, Countdown and Idle activated shutdown work fine. Have reinstalled the program, but does not solve the problem. Please help.
I'm running XP Pro SP2 with the latests patches
Antivirus AVG Free
Firewall ZoneAlarm
Thanks.

Example : Let's say it's 8 am and I want to shut down the PC at 10 am. I will enter 10 am, then select TIME, SHUTDOWN, the TIME (10:00) and the date (today's date). Then I click START.
Result : The computer won't shutdown at 10 am (or any other time specified).
Any idea what could cause this?

micndom i did some tests and it seems that it don't work when there are some programs running that can't be closed. Will look in it to fix that.
TriRan you could use the option automatic. Like set it to 12 and then every 12 hours it will reboot.
