DH Review: Empire At War: PC
There used to be a time when every game released by Lucasarts was a classic but recently we’ve had many games attempting to cash in on the hype of the Star Wars movies. Games like Clone Wars, Bounty Hunter and Starfighter (on consoles) didn’t leave a lasting impression on anyone and many would say were only released knowing the star wars fanatic would have to add them to their collection. Sure, there have been a few diamonds in the dirt like the Knights of the Old Republic series, the Jedi Knight series or even Republic Commando which all captured the essence of the movies.

It was a fun game but the replay value quickly wears thin. You can get bored very quickly because defending planets becomes monotonous and the AI is very dumb.

Yeah, I agree but if you go on the net it really becomes LOTSA fun... Not boring at all against a real human player!!!

'this game could have perfectly followed the entire saga from III to VII'
I knew I missed an episode somewhere
Looks like it's worth checking out, but Oblivion has me for God knows how long...

True oblivion is great but in the RTS domain, this is the only good and fun game to bite into (of late)

Was playing a couple online battles last night, one in space and the oter a co-op on the ground.
Amazingly fun- especially when he thought I didn't have much in the way of defense around one of my mining asteroids and I warped in 2 start destroyers and a bunch of fighters. Lol all he could type was "Aw hell" right before his scout fleet got wiped from the stars.
